Should we change from two receptions to one?

We are considering moving from having two receptions (one after the Thursday keynote and one after the Saturday keynote) to having one reception on Friday evening (a little bit earlier, since there would be no keynote before it).

Assuming, as we do, that this saves a bit of money... how should we use the savings? To keep registration low, or to increase our travel support for people on the program, to provide a continental breakfast on Saturdays, or...?
