Eastern APA Meeting

The PPE Society welcomes session proposals for inclusion on program at the 2024 Eastern Division APA Meeting, which will take place 1/15/2024 to 1/18/2024 in New York City at the Sheraton New York Times Square.

We are currently accepting two (2), two-speaker proposals, and preference will be given to proposals with one non-philosopher. The proposals should feature two related papers that each, or together, highlight the value of bringing philosophy together with political science and/or economics.

Please include titles and abstracts, as well as a chair for your session. To make a submission, complete our proposal submission form below.

For full consideration, please submit by July 24, 2023 at 9pm ET.

2024 Eastern APA Meeting - Affiliated Group Session Proposals

Session proposals should include a moderator (the convener may fill this role if they so choose) and either two speakers (each with a paper on a PPE topic) or one speaker and one commentator.

  • (Proposed moderator can be, but need not be, the convener.)
  • Proposals should include either two speakers, or one speaker and a commentator (who is not the moderator).
  • Please include the paper title and a short abstract in a single file. Abstracts should be close to 300 words in length.
